Los Luises is situated in La Punta de Tijarafe on the western side of the island of La Palma.
This holiday house is at 600m in a quiet natural setting with a pleasant climate summer and winter.
There is a good view over the hillside and the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day you can see the neighbouring island of El Hierro.
Los Luises is suitable for 1 to 4 people.

Los Luises lies in a quiet area. Along the back of the house is a small road which is only used by residents of the houses higher up the hill. The house has its own parking space.

In front of the house is a long sunny terrace with a gate, which forms a safe enclosed playing area for children. On the terraces below the house bushes and plants have been planted and there is a avocado plantation.

 
The House.
Living room and kitchen
Los Luises has a spacious and light living room with a large open kitchen.
Both the living room and kitchen have doors opening onto the terrace.<

The living room has a comfortable sofa and a 2-person bed-settee, coffee table, chairs, cupboards, TV and radio.
 
The kitchen is large and well equipped.
There is a table and chairs, ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven, double-door refrigerator, coffee machine, water-boiler, toaster, electric frying pan and a wide assortment of cutlery.
There is also a washing machine.
 

Bedrooms and bathroom
Los Luises has 2 large bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
In the first bedroom is a double bed and a wardrobe.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe. The beds all have good mattresses.
Both bedrooms have a view over the hill-side and sea. The wall between the 2 bedrooms is open at the top. This is a typical old Canarian building style. It keeps the bedrooms airy and cool but sounds travel.
The bathroom is between the 2 bedrooms and is equipped with a hand basin, shower, WC bidet and cupboard.
  

 
The area.
Los Luises is about 70 minutes drive from the airport.
It is 5 minute drive to the small village of La Punta where there is a small Spar and 'co-op' supermarket. Slightly further in Tijarafe is a bank, dispensing chemist, bars and shops.
The nearest sandy beaches are in Tazacorte (20 min. drive) and Puerto Naos (30 min. drive) where there are also shops and small supermarkets. Los Llanos is the closest town with it's old streets and squares, shops and supermarkets, and the popular meeting place Plaza de España, and is about 30 minutes drive.
On the main road are 2 restaurants and the autobar serves good tapas.
The Tijarafe area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths including a route to the viewpoint Torre del Time, where there is a breathtaking view over the west side of the island and the Valle de Aridane.
On the terrace of Bar-cafe El Time you can enjoy the wide view of the valley with a cup of coffee or a glass of local Tendal or Vega Norte wine.
